The Marine Industries Association of Florida (aka MIAF) gathered for its 2022 Spring Meeting in Stuart, Florida. We honored our long time Legislative Chair / Guru, John Sprague. John has been representing MIAF on legislative issues since 1985. Coming from a law enforcement background and becoming a marina owner gave Sprague the real-life experience to understand the unique issues related to the marine industries. A blink of an eye and 37 years later, John is still knee deep in legislative issues on behalf of the marine industries and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to recognize all that he’s achieved on our behalf.
